Saving Sage Animal Rescue
Welcome to Saving Sage Animal Rescue
At Saving Sage Animal Rescue, we pour our hearts into rescuing animals in South Florida and giving them a shot at a better life. We see the heartbreak firsthand—animals abandoned, neglected, or left with nowhere to go—but we also see the incredible transformations that love and care can bring.
One of the ways we help our animals find that brighter future is by transporting them up north, where there’s often more opportunity for adoption and fewer overcrowded shelters. It’s a lot of work, but seeing those happy endings makes every mile worth it.
What keeps us going is knowing we’re not alone in this mission. Proceeds from our wellness services and grooming go directly to our rescue efforts. When you bring your pet to us, you’re not just treating them—you’re helping another animal in need.
And your support doesn’t stop there. Donations, no matter how small, make a huge impact. Even $5 can help feed a hungry kitten or provide medicine for a dog that’s been through too much. If you want to help, donations can be made online, mailed, or can be dropped off at our main shelter—every single one is appreciated more than words can say.

Saving Sage Animal Rescue Foundation relies solely on volunteers, fosters, and donations.
Our dedicated team of volunteers and fosters are the backbone of our mission, opening their homes and hearts to animals in need. Whether it’s nursing a sick kitten back to health, transporting dogs and cats up north to find families, or simply giving love and care to animals who’ve known nothing but hardship, our volunteers make it all possible.
We dedicate our time to the most urgent, abused and neglected animals in South Florida. We work diligently to change the world for animals through our youth educational programs, tackling the growing over population crisis in our community and by helping to provide microchip scanners and training to various police departments in an effort to reunite lost pets and keep them out of our local shelters.
